đźš« Post Launch Results
- Landing has not approved a reservation resulting in an eviction since September (CLEAR was launched in December but this positive trend continues to hold).
- Applications denied due to suspected fraud have been going down since December (Averaging 6% vs. 15% before December), meaning fewer fraudulent people have been applying when they see we utilize CLEAR. Landing’s decisions are more accurate, and we are not denying folks for suspected fraud based just on experience.
- Reservations with evictions/past due balances have been down since December (Averaging 9 per month vs. 23 per month).

Role - Product Manager
Background
Landing applicants are getting sneaky, and many fraudsters aren’t caught before resulting in costly evictions and often terrible property / AGM experiences. Partnering with CLEAR will provide a smooth identity verification process.
Goals
- Reduce the time and cost associated with verifying members
- Reduce evictions and non-payments due to identify fraud
- Enhance the security of member data
- Improve onboarding member experience
High-level acceptance criteria
As a member, I can…
- Understand that Landing partners with CLEAR to do identity verification
- Understand what I’ll need to provide / should expect during Verifications
- Complete CLEAR identity verification within the Landing verification flow (web or in-app)
- Provide first name, last name, date of birth, email
- If I fail CLEAR identity verification, or run into an error in the CLEAR flow, I will still proceed with the rest of the Landing verification flow
- Understand whether I have passed Landing’s verification process (as a whole)
